Forest Center

The Takao Forest Center, whose mission is to protect the richly endowed state-owned forests of Mt. Takao, also holds various events throughout the year. Visitors taking part in one of the nature observation hikes along the various courses (1 to 2 hours long, depending on the course ) receive explanations about the seasonal plants and the trees. The Forest Center web site contains a wealth of information on the natural environment of Mt. Takao.
